Huntington Farm was founded in the mid 1960's by Read and Essie Perkins. The Perkins family bred, trained, and sold event horses in addition to starting the Huntington Farm Horse Trials. Ann Kitchel has continued running sanctioned competitions since she purchased the farm in 1983. Huntington has grown under Ann's guidance over the years to become one of the premier Dressage and Sporthorse breeding and training programs in the country. In March of 2021 Huntington Farm was purchased by Skylar Clemens, a young farmer and horseman from Pennsylvania. After spending the past two years working at the farm under Ann Kitchel, Skylar is excited to work to continue the legacy of Huntington Farm!
